My family settled in the Adirondack Foothills in the early 1800's. I have recently moved to a home inside the Adirondack Park. The Adirondack Park is 6 Million Acres of streams, rivers, mountains, lakes, valleys and history. I make outdoor trips for hiking, biking and kayaking into different areas of the Adirondack Park as well as the Catskill Park in New York, the Green Mtns of Vermont and the Taconic Mtns of Mass.. I make outdoor trips for hiking, biking and kayaking into different areas of the Adirondack Park as well as the Catskill Park in New York, the Green Mtns of Vermont and the Taconic Mtns of Mass.. I have traveled to other destinations on the East Coast as well, such as Great Smoky Mtns National Park, Shenandoah National Park, Green Mountain National Forest, White Mountain National Forest, Acadia National Park, Niagara Falls, the Blue Ridge Parkway etc. I have always had a passion for the outdoors, and I try to convey that passion through photos that show the natural splendor of nature. It seems as though many people in todays fast paced world have lost touch with their roots. Nature can allow us to discover things about ourselves that we didn't even know. It opens our eyes to the bigger picture of life on this earth and how we fit into it. If my photography is able to spark interest and contemplation of these things in people then it is a success.
